Create this super-versatile Christmas punch for any festive gathering. It will hold well throughout the afternoon and evening, and is just as delicious with alcohol as without!
What you need:
- 2 pears, sliced
- 2 lemons, 1 sliced, 1 juiced
- 2 tbsp caster sugar
- 1 tsp mixed spice
- 400ml white grape juice
- 100-150ml of Lyre's London Dry or Brunswick Aces Sapiir Spade Blend
- 275ml ginger ale
- 500ml sparkling water
- handful of pomegranate seeds
- rosemary sprigs, to serve
Add pear and lemon slices, sugar and mixed spice in a large punch bowl or jug, and chill for up to 1 hr to infuse.
Add lemon and grape juice, stirring to dissolve sugar. Stir in your chosen spirit.
Pour in the ginger ale and sparkling water, then add a few large handfuls of ice. Sprinkle over the pomegranate seeds and drop in a few sprigs of rosemary.
