What is 0.5% ABV?
Alcohol By Volume. Non Alcoholic Drinks range from 0% - 0.5%. 

Example: Orange Juice Fermented Drinks or even bread and ripe fruits! True Fact! 

How is Alcohol removed ? Processed and Fermentation.

Alcohol is produced during the fermentation process.
For Beer, the yeast breaks down sugar into the wort. So, if you limit the fermentation process in some way then you can create a low alcohol/ non-alcoholic beer.

There are also techniques that brewers utilise that extract the sugars during the mashing process. Brewers use special yeast strains that have been designed to produce only very low amounts of alcohol. 

For Wine, the alcohol is removed through vacuum distillation, a process that heats the wine up and allows the ethanol to evaporate.

What’s the difference between alcohol-free, non-alcoholic and de-alcoholised?

Alcohol Free - not containing alcohol, no drunkenness, no fuzziness. 

Non Alcoholic drink - A temperance drink. A version of an alcoholic drink made without alcohol, or with the alcohol removed or reduced to almost zero. 

Why does it cost the same as Alcoholic beverages?
The production process and the high quality ingredients used to remove the Alcohol takes longer.
It involves cutting edge distillation technology. 

Are these drinks Pregnant friendly? 
We have 0% drinks , which are more likely to be considered pregnant friendly.
But as always , please check with your GP.
